About Us

Introduction

Rivervale Student Care Centre is a joint project of Northeast CDC and Jamiyah Singapore. The student care centre was set up under the auspices of the Ministry of Community Development and Sports in May 2003 and supported by Jamiyah Singapore.

Jamiyah Singapore is a voluntary welfare organization that was set up to meet the varying needs of the community since 1932. Jamiyah Singapore has proven to be a success in education and welfare programmes among the Muslim and non-Muslim community in Singapore. To date, Jamiyah Singapore offered infant care programmes, childcare, kindergarten and Islamic education for all range of age through its 7 educational centres island wide. It also served abandoned and destitute old folks, members of the community with terminal illness, rehabilitative programmes for drug offenders and ex-criminals and children from broken families as well as orphans through 4 homes.centre.
